These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you. Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. It is the buyers obligation to accept and take note of the terms and conditions before placing an order. By placing an order, you enter into an agreement with us and accept these Terms and Conditions.
These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you enter into an agreement with Newbie, Kappahl Sweden AB, a company registered in Sweden. Our company registration number is 556060-4158 and our registered office is at Idrottsvägen 14, Box 303, SE 431 24 Mölndal, Sweden. Our registered VAT number is SE556060415801.
Newbie Kappahl Sweden AB is registered with the eco-organisation and up to date with their eco-contributions, as required by law (French environmental Code Articles L541-10 to L541-10-17). Our Unique Identification Numbers (UID) is:

Newbie reserve the right to modify the Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless required by law.
2. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms and Conditions and all disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or with the use of the website or with any purchase on the website shall be governed by applicable Swedish law and directives from the European Union. As Newbie may modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any moment, you are asked to accept only the Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of purchase with each of your orders.
Before proceeding to payment you can review your order, including your total price inclusive of VAT and shipping charges, and make changes if needed. You are bound by your order from the moment you confirm the order and the Terms and Conditions thereby stipulated have been fulfilled. This occurs once the order has been submitted and payment is confirmed. Please note that the order will not be valid if Newbie cannot confirm the billing and shipping address(es) that you provide. Once you have confirmed your order you will receive an immediate online confirmation on your screen at the end of the checkout, as well as a digital order confirmation via email. This confirmation is a receipt of your order online. A digital delivery confirmation is sent via email when your order is shipped. This is confirmation of your delivery.
If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product.
We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will be helpful if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.
We only sell items that we have in stock. Garments may sell out during the shopping session, and stock availability will be updated once you reach the checkout.
We reserve the right to alter/change/cancel an order if stock levels have been incorrectly displayed by the time of the order placement.
In certain collections you can order a maximum number of products and we reserve the right to change your order if the maximum number has been exceeded.
All product information displayed on www.newbie.com are subject to change.
- PRICE & PAYMENT
The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you place your order. We use our best efforts to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct.
It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product's correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we charge the lower amount. If the correct price of the product at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your order. If we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could reasonably have been recognised by you as a mispricing, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid and require the return of any goods provided to you.
We accept payment by most credit, debit cards, google pay and apple pay. In the Netherlands, you can also choose iDeal as a payment method. You must pay for the products before we dispatch them.
The total charges for each order, including cost of product, shipping and VAT is always authorised before capture. Prices on newbie.com are provided in EUR.
For all orders shipped to countries within Europe VAT is included in the prices and will be charged at the Checkout.
Items in your order that designated for shipment to countries outside the Europe may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (Import Fees). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees. A separate invoice will be sent to you from our distribution partner.
The order total (merchandise landed cost) cannot be guaranteed and may differ from what is quoted online at Checkout. If the import fees are not paid by the recipient, the merchandise will be returned to Newbie and the customer will not be refunded any of the shipping charges.
All prices are subject to change. Newbie cannot be held responsible for any currency changes or currency exchange rates that any bank may have when exchanging the currencies we offer online.
Newbie may offer promotional discounts, trough promotion code or automatically at checkout. Promotion codes is only valid once. It is not possible to add the discount after the order is confirmed. Newbie reserves the right to withdraw a promotional code at any time.
Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
6. DELIVERY & SHIPPING
We aim to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible. Once your order is successfully submitted, the warehouse processes your order the following business day. It is then picked, packed, and dispatched. Your order will be dispatched within 1-2 business days and will then be shipped to you.
Once it is on the way to you, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link attached. Your parcel should arrive 5-7 business days from the date of your order. Please note that for some delivery destinations, such as Slovakia and Croatia, it may take up to 10 days. During peak season, delivery times may be slightly longer.
Please note that the estimated delivery times (5-7 business days) are estimates and may vary due to external factors outside the control of Newbie or our distribution partner. These factors may include but are not limited to, extreme weather conditions, technical failures, customs delays, etc. Additionally, please note that during periods of promotional campaigns i.e. Christmas and sales, delivery times may be longer than usual.

Newbie.com ship to Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia & Slovenia.
We offer free shipping for all orders over €85 within Europe. Shipping cost vary depending on shipping country.
- 8 EUR: Germany, Belgium, Croatia, Netherlands, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, France, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Romania.
- 10 EUR: Switzerland
- 15 EUR Cyprus
- 15 EUR: Rest of the world
6.2 UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES
Newbie will not pay shipping for uncollected packages. Customers will be charged for the cost of return freight and administrative fees.
When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm that it’s on the way. In the delivery confirmation for your order, you will receive a tracking-link via our partner that is connected to your local forwarding agent. The link will provide you with information on the status of your order in terms of delivery Please note that it may take up to 3 business days between first and second tracking update on your order.
Newbie is not responsible for faulty information provided by local forwarding agents.
6.4 DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEM
We at Newbie guarantee that each order is inspected before it’s sent out to you. If a product despite this should be damaged, defective or incorrect when you receive it, you are of course able to make a complaint. In the event of incorrect, damaged or defective products being received, you are requested to contact Newbie Customer Service within 5 days
To help you, we will need the following information:

Photo(s) of the fault.

6.5 MISSING ITEMS/ORDER
Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to items may change. If an item in your order is missing, check your emails to see if we have notified you. If you can't find any information from us, please reach out to us within 5 days, counting from the day you received your order.
If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will send you an email to inform you about this. If this is the case, no payment for these goods is taken. The delivery note will state which items are in this part of your order. Please check the delivery notes from each part of your order to make sure you are not missing anything. If something is missing and you have questions, please contact us us as soon as possible, or at the latest within 5 days from when you received your order.
We must be informed of a parcel not arriving as soon as possible. If your order has not arrived within 14 days of the dispatch date, please contact our customer service. Failure to do this can affect our ability to trace the parcel and issue any refund. A refund will only be issued after 30 days, and only if the parcel is deemed lost in transit by the relevant delivery company.
6.6 What happens if I’m not home?
If you are not at home when our courier attempts delivery and the parcel doesn’t fit through the letter box, the carrier will leave your parcel with your nearest neighbour or service point and leave you a note telling you where you can collect your parcel. If delivery to a neighbour or service point isn’t applicable, your parcel will be sent back to the carrier depot and held there for 10 calendar days. There will then be a second delivery attempt. If the second attempt fails, the parcel will be sent back to Newbie.
6.7 FAULTY GOODS/INFORMATION
In the event that the customer receives wrong and/or duplicate order(s) Newbie reserves the right to have all products returned in their original condition. The customer must return the order to Newbie within 14 days of delivery without exception. Newbie will compensate the cost of shipping.
At the event of products being sold due to incorrect pricing caused by technical problems and/or mistakes by Newbie personnel we reserve the right to cancel the order, refund the money and inform the customer of the situation.7 RIGHT OF RETURN AND CANCELLATION
7.1 RETURN POLICY
We at Newbie hope that you, as our valued customer, will always be satisfied with what you order. However, in case you have a change of heart, we have a 30-day returns policy starting from the day you received your order from us. Please note that we are unable to exchange sizes or items, only refund. You will need to place a new order for any amendments/ additions to your original order.
We strive to process returns as quickly as possible and will notify you by email with a confirmation once your return has been processed. Please note that during busy periods, this could take up to 14 days from the date we receive the goods. Please note that as it is your responsibility to ensure the parcel is returned to us, and that you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office/courier company, when you return it.
To return any unwanted items purchased on newbie.com, please follow these steps:
- Ensure that the items have their original labels intact, are unused, unwashed, and in their original condition. Do not remove the hygiene strip on swimwear.
- All goods returned must be packed in a bag or box. If possible, try to use the original packaging or recycle where appropriate.
- As a customer, you are responsible for the return shipping costs when you send the item back to us. Please use the prepaid label, and the shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount. If you cancel your purchase, we will refund the amount paid for your returned items. Please note that delivery cost is non-refundable.
- Do not forget to enclose the completed return form when returning any items.
- Pre-paid return label must cover the original address label to avoid confusion.
- IMPORTANT for Swiss customers.. All Swiss customers need to include a proforma invoice along with their return. Please contact our customer support via email at email@example.com, and they will assist you in creating a proforma invoice, which will then be sent to your email. Please print three copies of the proforma invoice, as this is a requirement, and include them with your package/s.
- Arrange a pick-up or take your package to the closest drop-off location.
- Please retain your receipt for the return from your drop-off location
Rest of the world:
For returns going outside Europe, we don’t provide shipping services. If you wish to do a return, please contact our customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to find a suitable solution for you.
If you identify a production error the goods can be returned against a valid receipt and/or order confirmation. You have the right to make a complaint of the defect goods within two years after receiving the goods. If you receive a faulty product, please contact our customer service. When notifying us about the faulty item, you are required to indicate the reason for returning the product. Thereafter use the return form according to the instructions for returns. Once Newbie has received the faulty item, Newbie will give you a full refund for faulty items, including return shipping, as soon as possible. Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault appears within two years of purchase. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, Newbie will offer to repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available for re-order, you are entitled to a full refund including cost of shipping and return.
If you have a problem with a product that you have purchased from Newbie.com, and were not able to settle the complaint, then you can refer your complaint to either the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in Sweden, box 174 101 23 Stockholm https://www.arn.se/ or the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution (EU ODR) https://ec.europa.eu/odr.
7.3. CHANGES TO ORDERS PLACED
Once your order has been placed and you have received an order confirmation email, we will begin handling your order. At this point you may not make any changes to your order. If there is any mistake made in registering customer contact or address details when placing the order, it is your responsibility to immediately contact Newbie. Newbie is not responsible for goods sent to an erroneous and/or incorrect address submitted by a customer.
7.4. EXCHANGE POLICY
We do not offer a direct exchange policy. If you wish to exchange an item(s), please return the item(s) you wish to exchange and place a new order with the correct item(s). In you have any questions or concerns please contact our customer service.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of force majeure, all obligations contracted by newbie.com are suspended. In this case the contract between you and Newbie can be partially or fully terminated by yourself or Newbie. By force majeure we mean event(s) such as natural disasters, war, strikes, revolution, riot, import/export lockout and/or blockage, transportation interference, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service and/or disease whether this strikes us as an organisation or one of our suppliers direct or indirect.
Newbie has the right to cancel and refund any order(s) that are suspected to have been made in a fraudulent or otherwise harmful way in order to secure the safety of our consumers’ transactions via our online services. Newbie reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site and/or forward information on transactions to authorities or payment provider. Individuals violating the restriction of password protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.
10. OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS
All rights, including copyrights at newbie.com remain with Newbie and its subsidiaries. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without our permission.
