Delivery Policy

Newbie.com offer delivery to Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Slovakia.

Delivery times

We aim to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible. Once your order is successfully submitted, the warehouse processes your order the following business day. It is then picked, packed, and dispatched. Your order will be dispatched within 1-2 business days and will then be shipped via DHL to you.

Once it is on the way to you, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link attached. The parcel should be with you within 5-7 working days from your order date.

Please note that the estimated delivery times (5-7 business days) are estimates and may vary due to external factors outside the control of Newbie or DHL. These factors may include but are not limited to, extreme weather conditions, technical failures, customs delays, etc. Additionally, please note that during periods of promotional campaigns i.e. Christmas and sales, delivery times may be longer than usual.

Delivery cost:

We offer free shipping on all orders over €70. For an order amount below €70 the shipping cost is €6.

Delivery options and delivery partner

DHL Standard delivery is the available delivery method at checkout. DHL Standard delivery varies between "Home delivery" and "Pick up Point" depending on delivery country. For Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Luxembourg, Netherlands & Slovakia "DHL Standard Delivery" is per default Home delivery. For France, Latvia and Lithuania "DHL Standard Delivery" is per default delivery to Pick Up Point. Three business days after our warehouse has dispatched your order you will receive a notification from our distribution partner DHL, where you have the option to change choice of delivery from Home to Service point (or vice versa) or update delivery day.

Where do you deliver?

We ship to Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Slovakia.

We also ship to United Kingdom via newbiestore.com and to Finland, Norway, Poland and Sweden via Kappahl group

Delivery delay
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, you can check or track the status of your delivery:

  • Check the tracking link in the delivery notification we've sent to you via email
  • Check if you have received a notification from our distribution partner
  • Contact our customer service

Delivery address
When you register your order, you will be asked to provide a delivery address. You can also add an alternative delivery address. Unfortunately, we cannot change the delivery address after an order is placed.

What happens if I’m not home when you deliver my order?

This case is only applicable for countries where our distribution partner offers Home delivery and the not at home process vary between delivery countries:

Austria
If you are not home when our courier attempts delivery and the parcel doesn’t fit through the letter box, the carrier will leave your parcel with your nearest neighbor or service point and leave you a note telling you where you can collect your parcel. If delivery to a neighbor or service point isn’t applicable, your parcel will be sent back to the carrier depot and held there for 10 calendar days. There will then be a second delivery attempt. If the second attempt fails, the parcel will be sent back to Newbie.

Belgium
If you are not at home when our courier attempts delivery the carrier will leave your parcel to nearest service point/parcel locker and leave you a note telling you where you can collect your parcel. If the parcel is not picked up within 14 days, it will be sent back to sender.

Czechia
If you are not at home when our courier attempts delivery the carrier will leave your parcel to nearest service point and leave you a note telling you where you can collect your parcel. If the parcel is not picked up within 7 days, it will be sent back to sender. If a service point is not available in the delivery area a second delivery attempt will occur.

Luxembourg
If you are not at home when our courier attempts delivery and the parcel doesn’t fit through the letter box, the carrier will leave your parcel with your nearest neighbor or service point and leave you a note telling you where you can collect your parcel. If delivery to a neighbor or service point isn’t applicable, your parcel will be sent back to the carrier depot and held there for 15 calendar days then the parcel will be sent back to Newbie.

Netherlands
If you are not at home when our courier attempts delivery and the parcel doesn’t fit through the letter box, the carrier will leave your parcel with your nearest neighbor or Next day service point. Your parcel will be held at the service point for 7 calendar days and the be sent back to Newbie.

Slovakia
If you are not at home when our courier attempts delivery the carrier will leave your parcel to nearest service point and leave you a note telling you where you can collect your parcel. If the parcel is not picked up within 7 days, it will be sent back to sender. If a service point is not available in the delivery area a second delivery attempt will occur.

Is it possible to cancel a placed order?
You can request to cancel the order and we always do our best to prevent the order from being shipped. Please contact our Customer Service in this matter as soon as possible. However, it is not always possible to stop an order once it has been placed. If your order has been dispatched, you will need to return the goods (see information in our Return Policy)

I did not receive my confirmation email after I placed my order
Please check your email settings as the email may have been sent to your spam or trash folder. If you do not find your email or the information in your account, please contact us.

Track your order
When your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an email to confirm that it’s on the way. From there it should be delivered within the timescale we advertise. Orders are trackable from when they are shipped, you can check the progress in the delivery confirmation email via the attached tracking link. Please note that it may take up to 3 days between first and second tracking update on your order.

Damaged or incorrect item
We always aim to resolve any damaged or incorrect item issue as quickly as possible, but we need you to tell us as soon as you discover the fault so we can resolve the issue for you. Please send us an email with a description of the issue.

Missing item
Goods are subject to availability. As there is a delay between the time when the order is placed and the time when the order is accepted, the stock position relating to particular items may change.

If an item in your order is missing, check your emails to see if we have notified you that an item is out of stock. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will send you an email to inform you about this. If this is the case, no payment for these goods is taken. The delivery note will state which items are in this part of your order. Please check the delivery notes from each part of your order to make sure you are not missing anything. If something is missing and you have questions, please contact us. 

Missing order
If your order has not arrived within 10 days of your order dispatch date please contact our customer service

Partial delivery
Newbie store does not offer partial delivery. An item that is sold out will be removed from your order and you will not be charged. If this is the case we will send you an email to let you know.
