What is Newbie?
Newbie is a Swedish lifestyle brand founded in Gothenburg in 2010 and part of Kappahl Group. We create Scandinavian clothing for babies, children and women, along with children's interior details, rooted in thoughtful design, lasting quality and pieces made to be cherished for years to come.
Our collections are designed with soft colour palettes inspired by nature, hand-drawn prints and coordinated styles that can be worn across seasons. The ambition is to create garments that remain relevant beyond short-lived trends and can be passed on between siblings, friends and future generations.
Newbie has grown together with our community of Newbielovers, parents, grandparents, family members and friends who have helped shape who we are today and shared our world with others. What began in Gothenburg has grown into an international lifestyle brand. Today, we are represented through stores in United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Poland. Customers in a growing number of international markets can discover and purchase Newbie through our online store, while selected collections are also available through Zalando. Newbie is furthermore available in Iceland, bringing our Scandinavian design and nostalgic style to even more families around the world.

How we define Scandinavian design
For us, Scandinavian design means simple silhouettes, thoughtful functionality, soft nature-inspired colours and timeless patterns. Our garments are created to be comfortable for everyday life, easy to combine across collections and suitable for both special occasions and everyday wear.
Timeless design means creating garments that feel relevant year after year, rather than following short-term trends. Colours, prints and silhouettes are designed to work together across collections, making it easier to wear, reuse and pass pieces on. Durability means designing products with longevity in mind. Our story
Newbie began in Gothenburg in 2010 with a vision of creating nostalgic styles made to last. Today, the Newbie world includes clothing for children aged 0–10 years, Newbie Woman and carefully designed interior details for children's rooms. Soft colours, hand-drawn prints and coordinated collections make it easy to create a long-lasting look across seasons and generations. Many garments are designed to be passed on from child to child, reflecting our belief that beautiful design should be enjoyed for as long as possible.
Today, Newbie is available through stores and online markets across Europe and internationally. The brand is recognised for nostalgic Scandinavian design, coordinated collections for families and garments created to be worn, loved and passed on.
