How we work
Suppliers and factories
We do not own any factories. Instead, we work collaboratively with suppliers that share our commitment to responsible clothing production. All suppliers that work with Newbie agree to comply with our Sustainability Commitment, our code of conduct. It sets out principles with regard to trade union rights, wages, working hours, occupational health and safety, the working environment, etc.
We visit and inspect the factories regularly with our own staff to ensure that the suppliers are complying with our requirements.

Materials with respect for the environment
A garment has the greatest impact on the environment at the production stage. Certified cotton and recycled polyester are two of the alternatives that have less environmental impact than conventional materials.
Our target is that, by 2025, all of our garments will be made from materials with a lower environmental impact than conventional materials. We are progressing towards this target and are currently at 86 per cent.
